It marks the beginning of the autumn festival season and for many its the higlight of the year.
The festival was first held in 1992, starting as a small local festival with only Norwegian acts. Now we have the 29th festival in 2020 and we will present about 30 Norwegian and international blues artists. Nonstop music from 4 stages inside the magic Scandic Hell hotel, located only 2 min from Trondheim Int. Airport.
The festival includes a fabulous mix of styles from acoustic blues, via jump, swing, blues rock to modern next generation blues. There are also events in the schools and for seniors. The festival have strong focus on Youth Blues with an own stage for Young up and coming blues artists.
The magic blue light in Hell mixed with burnin’ sky provides a unique atmosphere for the festival wherein artists, audiences and locals mingle in magic concert settings throughout the weekend. This creates unforgettable memories and many of our guests come back year after year.
